This Saturday, 12th April, Dorchester & Weymouth BKA will be holding its famous annual auction of bee stuff.  Usually there are up to 200 items being auctioned and people come from a great distance to join in the fun and maybe get a bargain.  I once relayed bids from a friend who was on my mobile phone!

If you want to come and play, the location is Nordale Farm, Broadmayne on the A352 about a mile south of the village on the NE side of the road on top of a hill.  There’s ample parking space.  If you have stuff to sell, get it there in the morning and make sure it’s clean as anything dirty, such as old comb will be turned away.  You can register as a buyer from 1pm and the bidding starts at 2.

There’s great fun and banter, tea and cakes. Do come and play!
